Employee Directory Redesign

We’ve given the employee directory a major redesign—and it’s all about making it easier for you to get things done faster. Whether you’re trying to understand your workforce at a glance, get in touch with a team member, update an employee record, or find the right group of employees to message, the new directory is built to save you time.

We focused this redesign on helping you do and see more from the directory itself—no extra clicks or digging required. Here’s what you’ll notice:

More Actions, Fewer Steps

You can now take common actions directly from the employee directory:

• Call an employee
  
• Send a text message
  
• Message on WhatsApp
  
• Upload a document (vertical ellipses next to name)
  
• Attach a note (vertical ellipses next to name)
  

Smarter Filtering & Sorting

We’ve improved how you sort and filter your employee list to make it easier to find the exact people you need. That includes:

• Sort by any displayed column, like name, status, or tenure
  
• Filter by one or more for Groups and Supervisors
  
• Filter by and see any communication issues such as missing or incorrect phone numbers or email addresses
  

Customizable Columns & Scrolling Info Panel

Want to see more information in the directory? Now you can.

• Add custom information to your employee records, and display it in the directory
  
• Display the columns that matter to you—selecting options such as tenure, documents, notes, and more
• Scroll to the right to view additional employee details without leaving the page
  

Multi-Select & Message Drafting

Gone are the days of selecting employees one-by-one when sending out a message - use the directory’s new mulit-select, in combination with sorting and filtering, to select a set of employees to send a text, email, or WhatsApp message to!

A Fresh Look, Too

Beyond the functional improvements, the directory also got a visual refresh. We’ve updated the styling, colors, and layout to match the rest of the Team Engine platform.
