Team Engine users can now harness the capabilities of artificial intelligence to distill the responses from employee surveys into concise summaries. This allows employers to quickly and easily identify key themes in replies that they need to respond to. Especially for large organizations, this means less time wading through data and more time understanding the core issues and sentiments expressed by employees.

Why We Built This

Feedback surveys are an essential component (or at least they should be) of every retention strategy. Regularly asking staff for feedback on their experience as an employee signals care and commitment from the employer… but only if they take some kind of action on the overarching themes of the replies.

That’s where employee feedback surveys often fail, in the “respond to the feedback” part of the process. And that’s not because employers don’t want to do better for their employees; it’s because they don’t have time to read, quantify and strategize how to respond to every employee’s requests and suggestions. 

So they just never get around to it, and that doesn’t go unnoticed by the employees who are hoping for some kind of acknowledgement (at the very least) of their wants and needs. And when they’re asked to do it again in 6 or 12 months, they’re reminded of (and annoyed by) that inaction. Then they either don’t do it at all, or they do it again begrudgingly with waning confidence in the employer’s commitment to their satisfaction.

We built this new AI-powered survey summarization tool to solve this problem—to provide employers with an instantaneous executive summary of the results of their latest employee survey, so they can respond to the most pressing issues and let their employees know they have a voice… and it is heard.

How to Use It

The new survey functionality is very easy to use - simply navigate to the survey section of Team Engine in the left navigation menu. 

Open any past or active survey to see the new AI summary section below the survey and above the table of responses. This innovative new summary section quantifies the results of your survey and identifies action items for you and your team. 

You can also regenerate your AI summary if you’ve received new responses to a survey and want an up-to-date version, which is particularly useful for surveys that happen on an ongoing basis, like onboarding and exit feedback surveys.
