ICYMI: New Features Added to Team Engine in 2024
2024 brought exciting updates to Team Engine, enhancing automation, communication, and applicant management with 10 new features tailored to meet the needs of distributed teams.
The end of the year is a great time to reflect, both forward and backward.
Last year, we integrated our platform with other HRIS & payroll software, built tools leveraging AI, and made a bunch of enhancements to our hiring and communication platform.
This year, we added WhatsApp as a new integrated communication channel, expanded our messaging automation capabilities, built another tool leveraging AI, and made a ton of enhancements to the hiring side of our workforce management platform. Keep reading for a breakdown of each of them.
WhatsApp Integration

With our WhatsApp integration, you can now connect with more employees in a way that’s accessible and familiar for field and seasonal workers. Many employees (especially H-2B workers) rely on WhatsApp for its compatibility with international numbers and ability to function over Wi-Fi, making it ideal for those without email, reliable phone service, or a US phone number. This feature allows you to create customized, reusable reasons for rejecting candidates. While we always encourage using email for sharing candidate details, this option provides a convenient way to generate physical copies whenever necessary.
