New Feature: Recurring Scheduled Messages
Our new recurring message feature lets you automate employee messages on any kind of recurring basis.
Recurring Messages Can Now Be Triggered On Any Date, At Any Interval
Team Engine users can now schedule recurring messages to employees based on any date and interval they choose. Previously, this functionality was limited to employee birthdays or start dates. With this update, you can now automate messages for various needs, like meeting reminders or payroll notifications, on a schedule that fits your organization.
Why We Built This
Before this feature, Team Engine had no way to schedule recurring messages for employees or applicants at set intervals. Users had to manually duplicate messages, which was time-consuming. Existing automations could only trigger based on an employee’s start date or birthday, so messages were sent to employees at different times. This limitation meant users couldn’t automate messages to recur on specific days for everyone.
The Solution: Fully Customizable Recurring Messages
Now, with the new recurring message functionality, you can schedule messages to reoccur on any date and at any interval, just like setting a recurring meeting on a digital calendar. This offers the flexibility to automate regular communications with employees, saving you time and effort.
Use Cases for Recurring Messages
This new functionality opens up a wide range of possibilities for automating routine employee communications. Whether you need to send out regular reminders, notifications, or updates, recurring messages can ensure your team stays informed and on track without manual intervention.
Here are some ways you can use this new feature:
- Send a weekly text to employees asking for photos of their work for social media.
- Remind employees of the monthly safety meeting held every first Wednesday.
- Remind supervisors that payroll is due every Friday.
- Schedule annual review reminders.
- Set a biweekly reminder for managers about their meeting agenda.

- Click the Add Automation button. Fill out the recurrence interval on the left and enter your message on the right, including an optional end date.
