Why Use Team Engine Instead
Visibility: The problem with all the ways you might already be doing this is that they are all easily ignored or forgotten by employees, unlike a text message on their phone.
Ease and simplicity of referring: There is no confusion about how to submit referrals; they only have to enter a name and contact information, which they access by tapping a link in the message.
Regular solicitations: Schedule messages asking for referrals throughout the year (e.g. monthly or quarterly) so that you’re always reminding employees about your referral program.
How you can use Team Engine to do this
- Sync your employee directory with your HRIS or payroll platform, OR set up your employee directory.
- Navigate to the Referrals tab.
- Customize recipients and modify the message as needed. (See sample text provided in the copy-and-paste box.)
- Employee receives message, clicks link and enters their referral’s information.
- Referral automatically receives Team Engine message inviting them to apply for the job.
- As referrals come in, Team Engine alerts you when employees submit referrals and when referrals apply to jobs.
- The Referrals Tab displays all employee referrals and their status in the application process and referred employees who have been hired are labeled as such in the employee directory.
