Improve Your Onboarding Experience
Employers of choice are committed to providing an excellent employee experience, as well as continuous improvement in their processes. Achieve both by asking every new hire for onboarding feedback.
How you might currently be doing this
- Paper surveys
- Email surveys
- In-Person interviews
- Follow-up calls after their first few weeks
- Feedback forms on company intranet
- Open-ended questions in orientation
- Team meetings
Why Use Team Engine Instead
Automation: Once the survey is set up in Team Engine, the feedback survey will automatically send to each new hire after a certain amount of time has passed (as defined by you).
Consistency: Ensure every employee gets the chance to share feedback in a timely manner, while the onboarding experience is still fresh in their mind.
Accessibility: Because employees receive the survey on their cell phone via text (and don’t have to log in to email or an app) employees are much more likely to see and respond.
How you can use Team Engine to do this
Team Engine automatically creates an onboarding survey for every customer account, so all you have to do is adjust the settings to fit your organization!
- Mark Team Engine-sourced candidates as “hired” OR manually create new employee profiles and add their start date.
- Navigate to the Automations tab to confirm the onboarding survey is toggled on.
- Make any necessary adjustments, such as how many days after start date to send, or the contents of the message. (See sample text provided in the copy-and-paste box.)
- Add any recently hired employees to the survey workflow; otherwise, any employees hired in the future will automatically receive the onboarding feedback survey.
- Visit the Survey tab occasionally to generate a summary of the responses.
- Implement your employees’ feedback to improve your onboarding experience!
